Biggest Theme Park in the world
On Sept. 9, 2009, Trans Studio World was opened in Makassar. It is currently the biggest indoor theme park in the world (Ya hear that right buddy!).
Designed by John Stevanson, director of Kung-Fu Panda, Trans Studio World is divided into 4 zones, more than 20 different kinds of games, and the package came with shopping malls, restaurants and marina.
Transaction inside the park utilizes Studio Pass (no money needed). This technology has only been implemented in Makassar only; Orlando, FL. is not going to use this technology until 2010.

Bazaar ‘09
On Monday night (Aug 3, 2009), I came home from work and realized that this month is August; and that usually means there will be another bazaar in Houston for Indonesia’s Independence Day. Immediately, I turned on my laptop and contacted my cousin, Lucky Rumengan, who is working in Houston, TX if he had some idea about the event. I was using facebook to contact him and thought that he might reply it the day after. Turned out he was online and informed me that the bazaar was going to happen at August 8, 2009. Immediately, I made a plan to go there with my other cousin, Stanly Palit.
Yesterday, both Stanly and I went to Houston at 6:05 pm and arrived there at 10:45pm. It was exhausting but good thing Stanly drove the car most of the time. Ko Lucky (I address him as Ko as a respect as the younger one), told us that he was participating in the event.
Both my cousin and I went to the bazaar at 5 pm today and bought a bunch of food. Everything started with Es Cendol (since both of us had missed that the most). The list goes on to Empe-empe, Pukis, Mie Bandung, Sate Ayam, Teh Botol Sosro, and Martabak Aceh. Here are some pictures:
On the way home, we made some calls to some of our family members. We just had to “share” our moments of happiness with them; really it was all about bragging. We love you guys though ^_^.
I am soo looking forward to the next bazaar in 2010. If anyone wants to join, let me know so we can plan it to go together.
Google Voice
Google has done it again. First on April 2004, Google launched Gmail, a rival to both Yahoo! and Hotmail. On November 2006, yet another attack towards Microsoft with Google Documents that are offered for FREE (Gratis) for users who have gmail account. Recently, on March 2009, Google announced the impending Google Voice.
Last week, I signed up with Google Voice (unfortunately, right now Google Voice can only accept users by invitation; even though you have a Google Account). At around 10:00pm CST, I received a confirmation email from Google stating that I have been approved for a Google Voice account.
The whole night, I have been playing with this new technology and been in awe by what this product can do. For starters, Google Voice can make calls within the continental of US for FREE (there goes our favorite word again and phone carrier charges still apply). Secondly, whenever people call our Google number, it will call cellphones, and house # to alert that there is a new phone call.
Google is attempting to convert Skype’s 400 million online callers to Google Voice. Let’s see how far the battle will go for.
But so far I am happy with Google Voice. If you guys are looking to cut down bills in cellphone & phone costs If you have a lot of phones to manage (and/or free minutes from your phone carrier), then get an invite from Google Voice.
Mushroom Burger
One of the places I distinctly remember from Tagaytay, Philippines.
Some Fridays (before we open the Sabbath day, of course), my family and I would travel from AIIAS to Tagaytay to eat their famous Rice-Bowl Chicken Mushroom (with gravy on top). The environment was very relaxing and their staff were friendly.
Matrix in Windows
There is a lesson here everyone: do not attempt to use windows services if you are going to fight an agent.. and don’t take the red pill also..

Funky Car

Talk about funky car, recently I came across a company called Aptera. Aptera (in Greek: Wingless) designs a new type of car called 2e. It is a three-wheeled and electric vehicle that will really blow your mind away.
Those who care about the environment and who are looking for a different style in ride you should check out this car.
