Heart Walk

I am reaching out to you today to share a cause that is close to the heart of Concussion. You may not know, but Concussion is celebrating our 10 year anniversary this year and have made it our mission to give back to the community that has supported us for so long. Each month Concussion has selected a philanthropic cause to sponsor. So far this year we have done everything from providing over 800 books to a local book fair to participating in an old fashioned pub crawl to promote the Camp Bowie Beautification project.

All of things events have been fun, but September is a month where we need the help of our friends to make the event a success! Concussion has partnered with the local chapter of the American Heart Association for their annual Heart Walk. That’s right, we are gearing up to walk 5k in the Saturday morning heat! But the event is not just about walking to create awareness. It is about raising money to aid in research and finding a cure to many heart related diseases.

Now don’t worry! I am not going to ask you to get up early on your day off and sweat it out. I am only requesting that you make a donation, big or small, in honor of our company and our mission.
